Source Code

Overview

Monte Carlo Expected Move Distribution measures log-return volatility over a lookback, optionally adds a drift term, and simulates a set number of random paths over a chosen projection length. The end prices are grouped into bins and drawn as a horizontal profile. Inputs set simulation count, projection length, volatility lookback, bins, colour and width. Output is a statistical estimate, not a forecast.
