56 lines of Pine Script v4 from ZigZag - ishod/ZigZag reSampled - 7.pine.txt, published under MPL-2.0 (file header). Keep the author's credit and licence lines when you reuse it.
ZigZag reSampled tracks the highest high and lowest low over a depth window, then flips between an upward and a downward leg when a bar a set number of backsteps ago makes a new extreme. Depth controls that lookback, and backsteps offsets both the tested bar and the line endpoints. The script deletes and redraws the active segment when a deeper extreme appears, so the unfinished swing can change. It has no arrows or alerts.
The inputs you can change from the gear icon on the chart. Defaults are the author's.
