//-------------------------------------
// PURPOSE
// Triangular Moving Average (TMA) - a double-smoothed moving average that
// applies an SMA to an SMA. Creates a smoother, more lagged line than
// standard moving averages.

//-------------------------------------
// FEATURES
// - Multi-timeframe support via Indicator Timeframe input
// - Double smoothing (MA of MA)
// - Optional additional smoothing pass
// - Offset parameter for historical analysis
// - Dynamic color based on rising/falling values

//-------------------------------------
// NOTES
// - TMA = SMA of SMA (triangular weighting)
// - Smoother than SMA or EMA, but more lag
// - Better at filtering noise in choppy markets
// - Useful for identifying underlying trend direction
// - Price above TMA = bullish, below = bearish
// - TMA crossovers are slower but more reliable signals

//-------------------------------------

Overview

Triangular Moving Average plots the resulting line directly on the price chart with dynamic coloring to indicate whether values are rising or falling. Users can adjust the calculation source, lookback length, secondary smoothing pass, horizontal offset, and multi-timeframe resolution. The double-smoothed weighting filters market noise in choppy conditions, but introduces greater lag than standard moving averages.
