Overview
SuperTrend builds upper and lower bands from an ATR of the chosen source, then trails the band that stays active for the current direction. Direction turns up when price closes above the lower band and down when it closes below the upper band. The line is green in an uptrend and red in a downtrend, with a light fill between the candle midpoint and the line. ATR period, multiplier, and source are the main inputs. It does not generate entries, exits, or stops.
The inputs you can change from the gear icon on the chart. Defaults are the author's.
