Overview

Shooting Star - Bearish looks for a small real body near the low, an upper shadow at least twice the body, and no meaningful lower shadow, and it only confirms the pattern while price is in an uptrend. The trend filter can use a 50-period SMA, both 50- and 200-period SMAs, or no trend check. A red SS label, a light red background, and an alert appear when the pattern matches. It does not place trades or set exits.
