// ALTERNATIVE 7: Chandelier Trailing Stop
// THEORY: Trailing from highest high (for longs) captures more trend while protecting gains.
// Unlike Alternative 6 (fixed ATR stop from entry), this stop MOVES UP as the trend progresses,
// staying N * ATR below the highest high since entry. This "Chandelier" approach locks in profits
// while allowing the position to run in strong trends.
// Trade-off: Better upside capture and gain protection, but may give back some in fast reversals.

Overview

Position size for each unit is based on a percentage of equity divided by an initial ATR stop. A chandelier stop trails a multiple of ATR from the highest high since entry for longs, and the script can add units after each ATR step up to a maximum. Optional controls include a market moving-average regime, minimum volume, time-based exits, and a backtest date range. Signals, stops, and Donchian bands draw on the price chart.
