// ALTERNATIVE 27: Asymmetric Risk-Reward
// THEORY: Use a tighter initial stop (1.5N) but larger profit targets (4N, 8N, 12N),
// creating a favorable risk/reward asymmetry. This will reduce win rate but increase
// average winner size. Requires strong trends to work.
// INSIGHT FROM BACKTESTS: Alt 20 (asymmetric) was unprofitable, but it used different
// parameters. Combined with Alt 10's profit-taking approach, this could work better.
// Trade-off: Lower win rate (more stopped out), but much larger wins when right.

Overview

Seykota Alt 27: Asymmetric R/R calculates Average True Range volatility to determine position sizing based on a fixed risk percentage of account equity. Long and short entries trigger on Donchian channel breakouts, pyramiding additional units at set volatility intervals. Exits occur via a tight initial stop loss, multi-stage asymmetric profit targets, or a Chandelier trailing stop. Main settings configure lookback periods, stop multipliers, unit limits, and an optional higher-timeframe regime filter. The tight stop loss frequently triggers during sideways market conditions.
