// ALTERNATIVE 1: Adaptive Volatility-Based System
// THEORY: Parameters should adapt to volatility regimes. In low volatility, use tighter channels
// to catch trends earlier. In high volatility, use wider channels to avoid whipsaws.

Overview

Seykota Alt 1: Adaptive Volatility calculates an ATR percentile rank across a rolling lookback period, shifting dynamically between tighter breakout channels with smaller stops during low-volatility phases and wider channels with larger stops during high-volatility environments. The strategy scales into winning positions via pyramiding at set ATR increments up to a configurable unit limit, sizes units based on fixed risk percentage, and can optionally filter entries with a higher-timeframe market moving average.
