Overview

Before averaging, each price is clamped inside a narrow standard deviation channel built around a short weighted average, which limits the effect of sharp spikes. The clamped price then goes through two weighted moving averages, one with an adjustable length and one extra smoothing step. The line is green when rising and red when falling. Two optional extra moving averages, SMA, EMA or WMA, can be switched on. Source, length, channel width and channel length are adjustable.
