Source Code

Overview

Omori Law: Market Shockwaves flags a mainshock when price falls a set percentage from a recent high, then plots a power-law decay envelope from elapsed bars, productivity, time offset, and decay exponent. Aftershocks are volatility spikes where ATR exceeds a multiple of its average. Optional plots include the decay curve, spike markers, seismic-zone backgrounds, and an information table in a separate pane. Defaults are described for daily Nifty data; it does not place trades.

Indicators describe the past, and a strategy's backtest can look better than live trading, especially when a script repaints.
