Overview
MACD-X Overlay, More Than MACD by DGT provides four distinct calculation models: traditional, histogram-based, reduced-lag leader, and source-adaptive smoothing. Users can configure fast, slow, and signal lengths alongside moving average types using either SMA or EMA. Additional visual settings allow adjustments to indicator height, vertical positioning, lookback display length, MACD and signal line crossover markers, and shaded momentum zones.
Four MACD calculation methods including reduced-lag and adaptive models
On-chart overlay projection with adjustable height and vertical positioning
Optional MACD and signal line crossover visual markers
Configurable moving average smoothing types for oscillator and signal lines
Momentum area highlighting between the MACD and signal
The inputs you can change from the gear icon on the chart. Defaults are the author's.

This overlay indicator marks call and put setups from EMAs, RSI, MACD, and a SPY volume ratio. A call needs higher highs, RSI above its minimum, rising MACD, above-average proxy volume, and a rising trend EMA; a put reverses those tests. Early markers use an E
