Overview
Impulse MACD Modified compares a zero-lag EMA of the typical price with smoothed moving averages of the high and low, then sets the impulse to the distance outside that range or to zero when price stays inside. A simple moving average forms the signal, and a histogram shows their difference in green above zero and red below. Length and signal period control the smoothing. Optional bar coloring paints candles green when enabled. It has no entries, exits, or stops.
