Overview
HalfTrend determines directional bias by evaluating local high and low price extrema over a selectable amplitude alongside ATR-based channel bounds. It plots buy and sell signal arrows on trend flips, shaded ATR volatility ribbons, and five customizable EMAs with default lengths of 10, 21, 50, 100, and 200. Key settings allow users to adjust amplitude, channel deviation, toggle arrows or channels, and modify EMA lengths.
