Source Code

The code stays on GitHub. The author has not published this script under an open licence, so ForexR does not show its code. Copy script reads the file straight from GitHub into your clipboard, so you can still try it on your own chart. Ask the author before reusing the code anywhere else.

Overview

GEKO Gold computes a GEKO-TIMID composite trend strength score by blending weekly and daily EMAs and ADX values, then classifies the trend into Emerging, Dominant or Extended states. The indicator plots fast and slow EMAs on the price chart plus Bollinger Bands. It generates entry signals via Bollinger Band breakouts or pullback setups only when short-term and long-term timeframes agree in direction. Background tint and a configurable HUD display the current trend class and strength. Settings control TIMID parameters, entry filters, Bollinger bands and display options.
