Overview

Exponential Trend [AlgoAlpha] identifies trend direction based on price crossovers against ATR-based distance bands. As a trend persists, the indicator applies an exponential multiplier based on elapsed bars to accelerate the trend line level. Secondary volatility bands are added using ATR scaled by a width multiplier. User inputs allow adjustment of the exponential acceleration rate, initial band distance, and volatility width multiplier.
