Endpoint Moving Average (EPMA) calculates a linearly weighted average of the selected source over a lookback window, assigning the largest weight to the newest bar and smaller weights to older bars. The period input sets the lookback length, and the source input chooses the price series. During warm-up the window is limited to available bars, and a non-positive period raises a runtime error. It draws one yellow line and does not produce entries, exits, or stops.
The inputs you can change from the gear icon on the chart. Defaults are the author's.
