Overview

Ehlers Ultimate Strength Index USI plots the USI value in a separate pane, bounded between -1 and +1, with bullish signals above 0 and bearish signals below 0. Horizontal reference lines appear at zero, +0.4, and -0.4. The main settings control the UltimateSmoother filter period and the price source. The indicator draws on the chart without repainting or lookahead and applies to any market or timeframe.
