Overview

Ehlers Homodyne Discriminator (HOMOD) smooths the source, builds in-phase and quadrature components, and converts the phase angle into a cycle length. The result is rate-limited by about fifty percent from bar to bar, then clamped between the minimum and maximum period settings. Exponential warmup compensation adjusts early values. It plots the smoothed period in a separate pane and does not generate trade signals.
