Overview
Developing Market Profile (Dev MP/TPO) calculates the most traded prices over a user-defined lookback period and divides them into columns based on resolution setting. The profile can be offset from the current bar and optionally display history. Main settings control lookback length, column count, profile distance, border width, and character used for histogram bars. Colors can be customized for different segments. It serves as a visual tool to identify session highs, lows, value areas, and point of control without any trading signals, entry or exit rules.
The inputs you can change from the gear icon on the chart. Defaults are the author's.
