Additional instructions:
- This is a CONFLUENCE strategy requiring ALL three conditions for entry. Do not enter on just one signal.
- IMPORTANT: Buy when close is above upper BB (breakout, not mean reversion). This is trend-following.
- Exit is an OR condition — either close below lower BB or RSI > 80 triggers exit.
- The strategy enters/exits on the next candle open after the condition is met.
Overview
Confluence plots the upper Bollinger Band in green, lower Bollinger Band in red, the middle basis in blue, the RSI value and the MACD line with signal. A confluence entry requires all three conditions to align: close above the upper Bollinger Band for a trend-following breakout, RSI above 70, and MACD crossing above its signal. Exits trigger on an OR condition of close below the lower Bollinger Band or RSI above 80. Signals occur on the next candle open after conditions are met.
