Overview

CM Williams Vix Fix measures the percentage distance between the highest close over a lookback period and the current bar low. The indicator applies Bollinger Bands and percentile threshold lines to detect extreme volatility spikes. When the VIX Fix value exceeds the upper Bollinger Band or high percentile level, the histogram bars turn red, signaling extreme market fear. Custom settings control lookback lengths, standard deviation multipliers, percentile levels, and visual line displays.
