Overview

Bollinger %B tracks a simple moving average and population-style variance of the selected source with a circular buffer and running sums, then places the source between the lower and upper bands scaled by the standard-deviation multiplier. The result is typically near 0 to 1 and can move outside that range. Period, source, and multiplier are the main inputs. It plots the oscillator with reference lines at 0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8, and 1. It does not generate trade signals or exits.
