Overview
Bloomberg Financial Conditions Index (Proxy) turns log returns of SPY, TLT, an investment-grade to high-yield bond ratio, VIX, and a short-term Treasury to equity ratio into lookback z-scores, inverts several components, and combines them with fixed weights. A simple moving average smooths the result. Line and background colors change around zero and the plus or minus one thresholds. Lookback and smoothing set the window and average, while optional settings control a glow effect and component display. It issues no trade signals.
