Overview

Automatic Moving Average applies Exponential Moving Average smoothing to define trend direction and plots a color-coded moving average directly on the main price chart alongside custom bar colors. The strategy enters long positions when price enters a confirmed uptrend and short positions during a confirmed downtrend starting from a specified backtest year. It relies on trend reversal exits and lacks a stop loss mechanism.
