Overview
Asymmetric McClellan Oscillator measures the gap between a fast and a slow exponential moving average of net advancing versus declining issues for NYSE or NASDAQ, or for custom tickers. A ratio-adjusted mode normalizes net advances by total issues. Optional signal line and histogram, overbought and oversold bands, breadth thrust detection, and alerts are included. Exchange, EMA lengths, and the data timeframe are user settings. It does not trade or set stops.

This script calculates and plots a Stochastic Oscillator (KD indicator) in a separate chart pane. It determines the fast stochastic value over a 9-period lookback, then applies a 3-period Simple Moving Average (SMA) to create the %K line, and a second 3-period
