Overview
ARC VMAlgo calculates volatility bands using a Bollinger-style SMA and standard deviation. It computes a MACD-style momentum oscillator with fast and slow EMAs. It normalizes distance to bands using ATR for swing detection. An optional EMA crossover filter can be enabled for confirmation. Main settings control band period, std dev multiplier, EMA periods, and visualization options. The indicator draws the histogram on the chart for momentum analysis.
The inputs you can change from the gear icon on the chart. Defaults are the author's.
